Apply for this jobOverview
RankStudio is a US-based digital services agency specializing in digital marketing, AI consulting, and business operations. We are small, remote, and growing fast.
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to build the automation and tooling that scales our marketing. You will build and own the integrations and pipelines that let a small team produce far more output. You work independently at a senior level and own technical decisions end to end. We move fast; we expect code that ships, not code that's theoretically perfect.
This is a senior role. We are not looking for someone to hand-hold. We are looking for someone who can architect and ship on their own.
What You'll Do
Build Marketing Automation
- Build and maintain marketing-automation tooling, integrations, and pipelines
- Connect the systems that move content and data through our marketing operation
- Automate the repetitive work that otherwise caps how much the team can produce
Own Technical Decisions
- Work independently at a senior level and own technical decisions end to end
- Architect solutions and ship them without hand-holding
- Make pragmatic build-versus-buy and design calls, and stand behind them
Quality & Reliability
- Diagnose and fix production issues quickly
- Write tests for critical paths
- Keep what you build maintainable, even as a team of one
Requirements
Must Have
- Genuinely senior engineering experience; you architect and ship without hand-holding
- Strong with Node and Python (we care about depth, not a specific stack)
- Strong at building automation and integrations across modern web systems
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Solid working English
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing or content systems
- Experience with AI-powered tooling and LLM integrations
- Agency or startup background
Employment Terms
- Salary: $1,000 to $2,000 USD/month depending on experience and hours
- Hours: 8 AM to 12 PM and/or 1 PM to 5 PM Pacific Time
- Schedule: Part-time (20 hrs/week) or full-time (40 hrs/week)
- Equipment: Company-provided virtual machine; reliable internet required
- Vacation: 4% accrual, approximately 4 days per 100 days worked
- Holidays: US federal holidays included as paid days off
